Tina Tsai
Landscape Designer
Tina studied Architecture at Cheng Kung University in Taiwan before earning a Master in Landscape Architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design, where she won the BSLA Excellence Award and the Residential Design Category of ASLA Excellence Award in 2020 academic year. Being the recent recipient of Penny White Award Fund, she focuses on her research about the shifting culture of hydrological systems in Taiwanese Hakka settlements. During her time at GSD, she honed in on issues surrounding littoral environments under dynamic circumstances such as sea level rises and insufficient public realms.
Prior to her position at STIMSON, she worked as an architect and intern in several architecture practices in Taiwan and Spain. Beside her professions, Tina is also an amateur comic illustrator who loves to depict human figures and plants.
