Campbell Zeigler
Marketing Intern
Campbell walks through STIMSON projects almost every day. A rising senior at Bowdoin College, STIMSON’s work was the subject of a research project he and a friend undertook last spring, observing how fellow students use (or, don’t use) public space on their college campus. Twenty hours of observation, six flash drives, and fifty pages later, Campbell’s paper led him to insights into how campus placemaking works, and eventually, an internship with STIMSON.
Growing up spending summers off the coast of Maine, Campbell bore witness to the intimate connection between a sense of place and a sense of community. Through his work this summer, and beyond, he hopes to explore how the spaces we create can help foster stronger, more resilient communities.
When he’s not writing project descriptions or wrestling with Photoshop, Campbell is probably listening to Maggie Rogers, reading Joan Didion, or exploring New England with friends.
